Join us as we continue our mission to help families cross the finish line and "Race for Babies" on Thanksgiving morning, 11/23/23. Bring the whole family to walk or run a quick 5K and get a jumpstart on your holiday festivities. And, for your little turkeys, 12 & under, we'll have a 1/4 mile fun run first!

Day of Schedule: (Thanksgiving, 11/23/23)
- 8:00am - Check-In, refreshments, raffle open, music, vendor booths/kids fun zone open
- 8:55am - Raffle closes, National Anthem
- 9:00am - Kids 1/4 mile fun run starts (non-timed)
- 9:13am - Raffle winner announced
- 9:15am - 5K Run starts (timed)
- 10:00am-11:30am - after party, food, music, age group awards
Virtual Option: - 5K Only. Race for babies when and where you want, outside or on a treadmill, in support of Chicks in Crisis. Enjoy a 5K route of your choice and post your time online between November 17th - November 23, 2023. The run can be completed wherever you are located. Download the IYR App to post times and picture to receive your completion certificate and be illustrated in Virtual Results. Virtual option does not include bib, shirt, medal or swag bag. Fees:

Who We Are - Helping Families Cross the Finish Line
Chicks in Crisis is an essential pregnancy and parenting resource center for moms, dads, children and birth mothers with a mission of helping ALL families cross the finish line. Located on a 2.5 acre ranch in Elk Grove, CA, Chicks in Crisis is a bustling, yet peaceful oasis, offering services to anyone who is parenting and enrolled in school every 30 days with diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene and clothing as long as family size is maintained and no subsequent children are born while needing our assistance. Education is the key! The ultimate goal at CiC is that our clients are able to support their families without outside assistance; therefore, the finish line is graduating high school and going on to finish college or a trade school so that they become responsible, self-sufficient parents and are able to raise their children in a healthy, happy enfirnoment. Working together, we give those with little hope the tools and resources for a better life so they can "cross the finish line".
